Routine Procedures of Surgical Ward
The Processes ofa Patient Delivery after Surgery from Operating Room
1) Clinical delivery of a patient on a stretcher from the recovery, consciousness status, angioedema, serum, catheter, dressing of wounds must be attended, recorded, stamped and signed on a recovery report paper by a delivery nurse of the recovery. A patient's profile must be controlled based on doctor's orders after operation.
2) Caring for a patient transition on a bed by paramedic and assistant service.
3) Post- operative Instruction should be given to an alert patient and his/her family.
4) Doctor's Instructions should be checked and recorded on a kardex.
5) Precise controlling of vital signs as directed by a doctor.
6) Executing and simultaneous registering of exact commands in a file.
7) I/O controlling and registering as directed by a doctor.
8) Attending to the type of patient's diet, abdominal function I/O and recording the cases.
9) Registering used drugs and needed tests in HIS plan.

11) Before transferring a patient to the operating room, ensure that an operating room is ready for patient admission.
