The History of Tabriz Taleghani Educational and Treatment Center
The old building of this center was built in 1968 at the end of the northwest of Tabriz for the tourism hotel in 1968. In 1981, the center was changed into a general surgery hospital and therapeutic activities were started at this center.
In 1984, it was changed to the obstetrics and gynecology center then. As the educational and treatment center under supervision of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, it has not only done the therapeutic activities, but also it has done medical and para- medical educational activities since 1995.
In order to optimize the use of human and financial resources based on the policy of the Senior Management of the University, this center in addition to specialized female midwifery activities has been changed into general center.
